Keys Energy of NY, LLC was established in 2005 to market all types of petroleum products. The Company's roots date back to the original Palmyra Oil Co. founded in 1928 as an Esso Distributor. In 1964, Wayne Williamson purchased Pal Oil Co. The business was then sold to his sons in 1979. It saw impressive growth over the years and in 1998 was sold to New England Electric. The operation included thirteen convenience stores, eight distribution facilities from Albany to Buffalo and North to the Canadian border and one deep water terminal distributing jet aviation fuel, heating oil and gasoline. In addition, they operated a lubes distribution business, a retail propane distribution operation and an hvac mechanical contracting business. David Williamson became President of All Energy Fuels, an unregulated subsidiary of New England Electric. In 2001, New England Electric was acquired by National Grid for $7.5 Billion. Today, Jonathan Williamson, David's son is the President of the Company, continuing the Williamson family legacy in the oil industry.
